ISEP News: Name Change, New Website Announced

A new name and a new website are recent developments in the proposed stored energy endeavor in north central Iowa.

Formerly known as the “Iowa Stored Energy Project,” or “ISEP,” the undertaking will now officially be known as the “Iowa Stored Energy Park” (the acronym will, accordingly, remain “ISEP”).

A new ISEP website has just been unveiled. Anyone wanting detailed information about ISEP can go to www.iowastoredenergypark.com. There you will find:

• Detailed information about the goals and benefits of the project.
• Background information on wind energy and compressed air storage.
• An animated graphic demonstration on how ISEP will work; and
• Frequently asked questions.
