Judicial and Regulatory Interventions

IAMU intervenes in many contested case proceedings that have a broad impact on municipal utilities of all types. Iowa Utilities Board proceedings in which we regularly intervene include telecommunications tariff proceedings, merger cases, and cases in which the IUB considers operating permits for new municipal utilities. IAMU intervenes in FERC proceedings involving mergers of Iowa investor-owned and private utilities as well as transmission cases.
