Safety Group Insurance Program

IAMU’s Safety Group Insurance Program provides property, casualty, liability, and workers compensation insurance to participating cities. The program has over 450 participating cities and annual premiums of approximately $13 million. In the last 20 years, the IAMU Safety Group has earned in excess of $22.5 million in dividends, while setting the market for premiums and coverage.

Group Health and Life Program

Currently 48 member cities participate in IAMU’s Group Health and Life Program.

Iowa Public Agency Investment Trust (IPAIT)

IAMU’s member utilities and their utilities are eligible to participate in the Iowa Public Agency Investment Trust (IPAIT), an investment alternative for public funds. IPAIT is a joint investment trust with cities and counties with daily assets of approximately $500 million. For more information, contact Investors Management Group at (515) 224-2724.
